بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
This is an introduction and explanation as to why I have created this blog. First and foremost let me say that even though the name of it is centered around the Hanbali Madhab, this is in no way diminishing from the greatness offered by all of the scholars of Islam, or by the other three specific Madhaahib, nor of those scholars who have trod the path of knowledge by the way of the Madhab of Ahlul Hadeeth or other than them. Neither is this website calling for every individual person to stick to the Madhab of fiqh of the Hanaabilah or to the scholars therein, rather they should stick to the scholars with whom they trust, who are trustworthy knowledgeable, and available to them.
On that note, I
will say that I have had the benefit of living in a society that for the most
part has within it scholars who are upon the Madhab of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal in
one way or another, and thus have gained an affection of that way in fiqh, for
this reason as a student of knowledge I have intended to dedicate myself to the
study of the Madhab not only by using the more classical methodology but by
also using that which is more recent from the scholars of our times.
With that being
said, I mainly made this blog to have a place to post and keep a whole bunch of
random things I come across, or need, which have a broad range within Islamic
sciences. From Belief, to fiqh, to Usool , to Hadeeth, etc. I also want to use
it as a means of making people aware of the position that the Madhab
had in the preservation of Aqeedah during the Islamic history, and how the
Madhab is still alive and doing well, however not in the same form as the other
three Madhabs and that is simply because of the foundations that Madhab is
built upon. I will also use it as a platform to remove any doubts concerning the
Madhab, or the Scholars related to the Madhab, and other than that, God
Willing.
As for my translations, some times I translate according to the meaning and not word for word because of the lack of English equivalent that would actually make sense. However I am not free from mistakes, so if you see I have made one feel free to message me or point it out so that I may correct it, Barak Allahu Feekum.
You can find me at Yahya John Trento as a Public page as well.
